You Are Amazing

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my project for Kennedy Grace Creations  using the Just A Rose stamp set, I stamped using Versamark ink and heat embossing using Gold Embossing Powder. I then sprinkled my paper with Green Color Bursts powder. I sprayed it with water and let it do its job. I love the way it turned out. And since the next holiday coming up is St. Patrick's Day here I thought it was fitting. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed in gold, on black cardstock, and layered it on the little banner piece, I then fanned 3 banner pieces together and attached with a brad. I hope you have enjoyed my project today. It sure was fun making it.

Grace's Bouquet

Jill here on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog with an elegant Get Well card featuring the stamp set Grace's Little Note.  Although I used another stamp set on this card, I highlighted the Kennedy Grace Creationsstamp by coloring it in with bright, vivid Copic markers.  I left the other stamping in  neutral tones or very pale blue to keep the focus on our flowers.  I used a lot of masking on this card, heat- embossing with Ranger'sLiquid Platinum embossing powder of the background floral image from The Ton's stamp, Peony Bouquet and then for the crystal bowl from the same stamp set, I used MFT'sHybrid ink in both Grout Grey and Blu Raspberry so that I could add additional Copic coloring for shading and the water in the bowl.

For added interest, I partial die cut the crystal bowl using the matching die, added some Fun Foam to the back to give it dimension, then adhered it on top of the card base that I had prepped with a layer of embossed dots onto some Crafter's Com…

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! It's Berina here today. I have a beautiful card with a lovely flower and a soft background using a sentiment stamp.

I stamped and colored the rose from the Just A Rose stamp set and fussy cut it. I used copic markers to color it. I then took the Happy Birthday sentiment stamp from the Vintage Tea Cup stamp set and stamped it repeatedly with Memento London Fog ink to create the background. I really love the font on this sentiment. It has given a beautiful look to this soft background. I adhered a piece of grey cardstock on to an A2 card base and the background on to it. I added the fussy cut flower as well. I added few sequins from Pixie Pink Tutu sequin mix.

That's all from me today! Hope you like my card today. Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Finetec flowers

Hello there my crafty friends!  During the last 30 day coloring challenge I had a little time to play along with the coloring.  I pulled out my stash of Finetec watercolors.  I love these little gems!  The metallic finish and sparkle is just amazing.  I just couldn't decide on which colors to use so I did several different colors.

To start, I cut several pieces of black cardstock and treated it with anti-static powder.  I then took the main rose stamp from the Just A Rose set and stamped it with Versamark ink.  Just like picking the paint colors, I couldn't decide on a single embossing powder!  I did one in black, one white, one white pearl, one silver, one rose gold and one gold.  Now to paint them all!  I must admit I had lots of fun playing with the Finetec paints. :-)

I'll tease you with one of the finished cards!

I fussy cut all of the flowers out and thought about what to do with them all.  I wanted them to be the focal point of the cards.  I blew the dust off of my…

Watercolored card with Beautiful Blooms - Hydrangea

Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here to share with you my creation using the mood board of Kennedy Grace Creations as inspiration! I decided to use the Beautiful Blooms - Hydrangea stamp set with watercolors, one of my favorites mediums. Take a look at my card:

This month the inspiration book suggested us some colors and I selected the pink and yellow and the tones in between. I stamped the beautiful hydrangea several times over a piece of watercolor paper using Versafine Onix and colored the flowers with Kuretake Gansai and aqua painters.

To complement the color line I cut the sentiment using a set of hello die cuts from Technique Tuesday with the same color coordination and pasted it over the lower part of the card. This is the mood board that we used this month as inspiration and you can also use it for our creations and share it with us in our facebook group.

I hope you my project inspires you and see you soon with another idea!

Wish...

Happy Valentine's Day!  Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog with you today.  I've got a clean and simple birthday card to share.
We are creating projects based on this mood board this week.  I love the colors in this board!!
I decided I wanted to make a birthday card.  I kept it clean and simple.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Crayons to color these beautiful roses from the Splendid Roses stamp set.  I've used worn lipstick, picked raspberry, mustard seed and twisted citron.
I finished the card by adding a banner strip and a washi banner.  I have so much washi!!  I decided I need to start actually using it...LOL!  Can you relate?!  I die cut the word 'wishes' from the Tim Holtz celebrate die set.  And I simply snipped off the 'es' to make it read 'wish'.
Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope I've inspired you to create something pretty today.  And I hope you all have a wonderful, safe Valentine's day.

Just Because Card

Hello, dear friends! Marina is here and I'm going to show you my new flower card inspired by the amazing February Mood Board! I've decided to color gentle flowers from the Grace's Litlle Note and used Zig Clean Color markers for it. To make a subtle background for the flowers I toned the cardstock with distress inks, sprinkled it with water a bit and wiped with a napkin.
A tiny Just Because sentiment is also from the Grace's Litlle Note set. It perfectly fitted white circle frame with flowers.

For a delicate accent I picked three clear sequins from the Leather and Pink lace and Frosted Cupcackes mixes.

Just a Rose

We have a beautiful mood board for February. So much inspiration to choose from. I decided to go with the colors and the flower as my inspiration for this card. I started by heat embossing this gorgeous bloom from the Kennedy Grace Creations "Just a Rose" stamp set. The flower was colored with watercolors and fussy cut from the watercolor paper.

The watercolor background was created by smooching watercolors around on Canson watercolor paper. To get this look, the colors were each dried after they were placed.  The panel was cut with a stitched rectangle die.

The sentiment is from the Kennedy Grace Creations set, "Grace's Little Note". The card was finished off with Kennedy Grace Chantilly Cream sequin mix.

Thanks for stopping buy and taking a look!

Blessings,
Brenda

Split Images - February Mood Board

Hello Kennedy Grace Family!
It's Donna here, and we've been sweltering here in Southern Australia. So what a delight it is to have such a beautiful cool mood board to work with.
I've chosen the flags as my inspiration and have tried to recreate some of the look of them on my card.

I cut several tags using a die in my stash, then laid them on a piece of scrap paper, attaching them with repositional adhesive with just the same spacing as I wanted on the card. I placed this in my MISTI stamping tool and stamped the gorgeous rose image from the Just a Rose stamp set across the tags in clear ink. I then heat embossed in white. I placed a mask over this rose and the stamped one of the images from Grace's Little Note in two different places and heat embossed it as before. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.
Once the stamping was done, I moved the banners to my card base, and attached them with foam tape.
The final touch? Sequins of course! I picked these sequins out o…

February Mood Board

Good morning, Karen on the blog with you today.  I'm sharing my card inspired by the February Mood Board.  I took my inspiration from the colours.  I chose my papers to showcase pink, orange and green as a colour scheme.

I cut fish tail banners from my chosen papers and glued them in different lengths to my card stock.  I then cut an oval sentiment and placed my sentiment in behind.  The sentiment comes from the Kindness Medley Stamp set.  I  cut a duplicate from foam so the sentiment oval had some dimension and didn't sit flat.

The little orange butterfly, cut from felt, was sitting on my desk, unused from another project, so I popped that on with sequins from the Primrose Mix.  Last step was to put some green design paper behind.

Its a beautiful Mood board so I hope you'll get some inspiration from it.

Love and Laughter,   Karen

February Inspiration from LeeAnn

The background die is from my stash. The flowers were stamped using Memento Dew Drops in Rose Bud and Dandelion, the stem is New Sprout. I stamped the flowers on Canson XL watercolor paper and cut with the Scan N Cut. The flowers and sentiment are from the Loving Mom stamp set. I added a few sequins from the Lemon Sorbet mix and my card was complete.
