Frosty Shaker Ornament or Tag

December Mood Board for Kennedy Grace Creations is so gorgeously done!! Love all the soft blues and silvers together!! Just love the inspiration for today!! You can see my post over on my blog as well which is HERE.
I love to embellish gift bags as well as making ornaments and today's creation can be used for either. I first die cut the pretty window frame using mirrored cardstock, and then made it into a shaker. The first thing was to trace the shape out on cardstock that I could use my Copics on. Using the transparency of the stamped image that comes with the set, I arranged the rose cluster where I could see them peeking through the window.  Lining the stamp up with its picture, I stamped exactly where I wanted to with my MISTI. Coloring is so relaxing and I used the mood board to choose my colors. The image I stamped was using the Kennedy Grace Creations Splendid Rose stamp set. Afterward, I cut a piece of transparency to the size of the shape of the window again by tracing it and fussy cutting it out. Then I dusted it with the powder tool so as to keep it from having static cling with the sequins. I cut the foam tape to go around the edge of the shape and made two layers so that it was thick so the sequins could bounce around more. Using the Crystal Lacquer to ensure that the frame stayed tightly glued, I then put Kennedy Grace Creations Frozen Sequins in and adhered all of the layers together. Once everything was dry, I adhered a piece of blingy string to the back. Viola!
Other Supplies included:
Copic Markers: BG05, BG02, B02, B0000; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; MISTI, Ranger Crystal Lacquer; Transparency; Fiskars scissors; Neenah White 110 lb cardstock; Tonic Silver Mirror paper Metallic Gloss; Spellbinders Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval Window die; Platinum machine; Scotch foam tape; tweezers; EK powder tool; May Arts Blingy String.

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
