Elegant Grace's Little Note Card

Today is my day on Kennedy Grace Creations to show off their gorgeous stamps!! Hi, I'm Beverly Jordan.

Today I am using Graces little Note stamp set and Frozen Sequins. I chose the colors of Peach and dark Turquoise. Using my Copics sketch markers I colored the petals with R00 first, adding the darker color of R22 at the center of each flower. Then using R20 in strokes touch the edge of the R22 color and going away from the darker color toward the edges of each petal which gives the petals a realistic look. Straight "flicking" strokes lifting up at the end of each, brings natural shading to the petals. Following the same method with the following colors for the leaves using YG11, YG63, and BG09. Then using BG70 and second touch color of BG75 for shading around the whole image. I like to stay with the blues for shading instead of the grays sometimes.
The whole card just came together so easily but I didn't have ribbon so used R22 to color Seam Binding to match perfectly.
Other supplies included: MISTI; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Spellbinders die with gold Recollections paper as well as their Blue metallic paper; Copic coloring paper was Neenah Bright White 110 lb.; Scrapbook Adhesives 3L tape runner and Crystal lacquer to adhere the sequins where I wanted; Fiskars 12 inch cutter and scissors.
I didn't have the right shade of ribbon so using Copic R22, and white seam binding, I colored it to match perfectly.
Challenges:
Am also playing along with Kathy Racoosin's #thedailymarkerchallenge of coloring every day. It is so fun and relaxing!!!
Love and Laughter,

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
