Purple Bloom Just Because

Karen here with a card to share today featuring the Kennedy Grace, Beautiful Blooms Sweet Rose stamp set.

I decided on purple for no reason other than I haven't used purple in a while.  I stamped coloured and fussy cut the central bloom, placing it on foam with several die cut circles with leaves behind.  I then used the Kennedy Grace Cutting Edge Creations, Scalloped Rectangle die to cut the bottom of the card, which is a great way to stretch your dies.  I then backed it with some design paper to match and to accentuate the scallop.  The Just Because is also from this stamp set.  Finishing touch is some beautiful moonbeams sequins.

Love and Laughter,

Sympathy Roses

Hello, everyone! Rachel here today with a gorgeous sympathy card using the Splendid Roses stamp set.

Sympathy cards are always the hardest for me to make, so I like to make a bunch in advance so I don't have to put one together when I actually need one. I like to keep them simple and try to stay away from bright colors. For this one, I decided to keep my roses white. I started by cutting a card base from some Fog Gray cardstock and then cut a panel with the Stitched Rectangles. I stamped my panel with a Wood Plank background using the Fog Gray ink that matches the base. It's very light and doesn't detract from my main image.

I cut another, smaller panel using the same dies and then stamped my image on top of it. I added another partial image to the top to add just a little more greenery to the bouquet. I used my Warm Grays to shade the roses (W00, W01, W03) and some Yellow Greens for the leaves (YG95, YG97, YG99). I added a halo around the images using my Cool Grays (C00…

You Are Amazing

Hi there it's Monica up on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today with this bold thank you card to let someone know how amazing they are to you. Let's get right into the card. I stamped the roses from the Splendid Roses stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations onto some Strathmore Bristol paper in Onyx Black Versafine ink. I used Zig Clean Color markers to bring the roses to life. I used marker numbers 024, 028, 044, 045 and 091. I used some strips of patterned paper from the Pink Paislee C'est La Vie collection as well as some wood grain cardstock that I added foam tape to for dimension. The thanks sentiment was cut using a die from Lil' Inker Designs and the "You Are Amazing" sentiment is from the Just a Rose stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope to see you soon.

Planner Shaker clips

Hello!  Cindy from In Love with PAPER back on the blog with you today.  I've been having fun setting up my planner lately :-)  I have created some cute little planner shaker clips.

I used my Cricut to cut the shapes and frames.  I cut the circle/heart at 1 1/4" and then using the centerpoint feature cut once at 1" and then at 1 1/4" to create the frames.  I cut about 8 of the frames from white cs and then glued all the layers together.  That way the sequins could shake freely around.

Recipe:
scraps of paper
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cart - circle @ 1 1/4", 1 - heart @ 1 1/4", 1
transparency sheet
Kennedy Grace Creations - Beautiful Blooms - sweet rose stamp set (smile sentiment)
Kennedy Grace Creations - Tinkerbelle's Sparkle sequin mix
Kennedy Grace Creations - Pink Champagne seqin mix
Inkadinkado - Good News stamp set ( cross stamp)
Glossy Accents

Thanks for stopping by today.

Scrappy Notes

Hi there.  Its Karen on the blog today and I have some little note cards to share.

I don't know about you but I actually don't like scraps and find it hard to keep little bits. I think its the Virgo coming out in me and scraps are just not tidy.  That said as I was cleaning my little box where I pop bits and pieces, unfinished cards and things I haven't used because I either A. Change my mind B. Don't like it at the time or C.  Have no idea where I was going with it or D. Stuffed up the stamping.  Whilst doing this I discovered some Kennedy Grace flowers stamped and not coloured and some little pieces of gingham paper along with a couple of die cuts that were cut to test out the Scalloped Rectangle die.

I lay these out on my desk and made some little note cards to write a message on rather than using a sticky note.  The Scalloped Rectangles I folded in half to form a lovely edge for the card base. The gingham I cut to fit just inside the stitching line and coloured u…

Thinking of You

Hello! Rachel here today with a card featuring the Time to Blossom stamp set!

I decided to create some of my own pattern paper today by repeatedly stamping my image over my white panel in light brown ink. I didn't bother to color it in so it wouldn't be too distracting from my main image. Both my panels were cut with the brand new Stacked Stitched Rectangle dies and they are fabulous! My smaller panel had the image stamped in black ink and then I colored it with Copics. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink over the top of the image and then heat embossed it ink gold to make it shine in real life. It's a little hard to see in the picture, but easier to read when you're holding it in your hand. I adhered my first panel flat to my card base and then used some foam tape to pop my smaller panel up for some dimension.

Grateful

Hey everyone it's me Jessica..

I wanted to share this card I made. I started with a watercolor panel and used two stamp sets from Kennedy Grace Creations Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose and Just a Rose. I prepped the panel with some antistatic powder and stamped the Just a Rose image and heated embossed it. I made a mask for the image and then arranged and stamped the Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose over the top of the other image and heat embossed the image. I watercolored the image with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I then used the sentiment Grateful from You Inspire Me stamp set and heat embossed on a heat resistant acetate. Made a frame from another piece of watercolor paper and adhered it all together. Thanks for stopping by and leave me some love....

For today's video I decided to make a clean and simple card where I heat embossed my images in white, and water colored them using my Distress Inks in some pretty and soft colors. I finished my card adding some sparkling clear Moon Beams sequins. I hope you enjoy the video tutorial below. Have a great day and happy crafting! :) Supplies:
