Sunshine Mini Album 6 x 6

Hello & welcome to my blog!

This is a mini album I made using My Minds Eye Sunshine collection.  I really love these papers.  I based this whole mini album on the yellow butterfly I purchased from Angelica at LittleScrapShop on Etsy.  I just fell in love with her hand made butterflies.  The second I found her shop I just knew I had to have some! Of course, I could not get just the yellow ones :) I had to get several other colors as well!  I also found the Sunshine collection (no longer available) from My Mind's Eye and fell in love with the papers.  I made this mini based on a tutorial from a great friend of mine Cathy at So Much Scrap.  She is simply AMAZING!

Since this was one of my first mini albums I needed a starting point.  I really love how it turned out.

This book has a chipboard cover with painted black edges and covered in design paper from the Sunshine collection.  The flowers I have used are from I am Roses and are sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang starbursts spray, Yellow Rose of Texas, and the black is from Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist spray mist paint, Its Black.  Along the spine of the book it is a velvet black paper and has a Tim Holtz jump ring that I have tied with yellow ribbons and a charm too.  There are multiple flip ups, flip outs, and each one is a pocket page.  There are lots of tags and plenty of space for photos.  You could easily put 25 - 30 photos in this book.

I hope you love it as much as I do!

It is for sale in my Zibbet's store -  http://www.zibbet.com/kennedygrace

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
